Vantage Apparel recently fulfilled an order for an engineering company seeking to celebrate their 60th anniversary by gifting each of their employees with $25. Why Web Stores?

Vantage Apparel worked with their distributor partner to set this client up with a temporary web store that preloaded each of their 4,000 employees' accounts with a $25 allowance to purchase limited edition merch, such as branded hats, tote bags, backpacks, T-shirts and blankets. This made it quick and efficient for the aerospace company to disperse employee gifts in one fell swoop instead of having to orchestrate a complicated in-person pickup. Staff were also given the option to use their credit card to buy more products for themselves, and free shipping was offered to all employees, as the client opted to cover shipping costs.

The result? 2,815 orders with an average order of $93. Purchased products were then drop-shipped via Vantage Apparel right to employees' homes, saving their client time, stress and money while ensuring end-users got their merch as soon as possible.

Why Web Stores?

By creating a web store for their distributor partner's insurance client, Vantage Apparel was able to get new corporate uniforms in the hands of staff without anyone having to leave the house, as products were shipped directly to their homes. Vantage Apparel created logins for each of the insurance company's 205 employees preloaded with a $75 allowance. In the one month the web store was open, employees were able to easily order either men's, women's or unisex workwear in their exact size, setting them up for success while working from home.

Why Web Stores?

Due to the ongoing pandemic, giving out shirts in person was unfortunately not an option. Thankfully, this client's distributor worked with Vantage Apparel, who was able to set them up with an easy online web store. This made it possible to "collect" shirt sizes for over 7,000 employees and control redemption rules to ensure an accurate rollout. Hospital addresses were also preloaded into the system, allowing end-users to simply ship to their desired location. Last but not least, Vantage Apparel bulk-shipped the product in polybags with each individual's name on them, and cartons were packed alphabetically for easy distribution.
